Good caffeine free option, fruity flavor

This is a very interesting tea. It reminds me of a blueberry white tea. It recommends to brew around 180-185 Fahrenheit. I think you should steep it at a lower temp. Though I didn't use my thermometer this time. It was slightly bitter which usually means it was brewed too hot. I think 170 or 165 would be better, but that's just my preference. It is a floral/fruity flavor. The tea itself is a little scary when opening it. I didn't realize it was a fuzzy white looking tea. I'm glad they added a picture online because I wasn't sure if it was still good. It obviously is, I just wasn't familiar with this type of tea.I like this company and I think they make really good teas. If you are a tea connoisseur and enjoy caffeine-free, mild, fruity teas; this is great for you!

A really interesting herbal tea

This is an herbal tea that doesn't actually contain any real tea. It looks very much like tea though, and you make it the exact same way. You brew hot water and then pour over and then steep for a few minutes depending on taste. I love oolong and Jasmine tea and I liked this tea quite a bit. It has an interesting sweetness to it without having any sugar which is awesome, although I like to drink all of my tea iced and I add a little bit of sugar anyway but I actually add less to this than I would my normal Jasmine tea. I was able to receive two times before the flavor started getting too light for my preference. I love tea and I can't really drink it at night because I don't want to be drinking too much caffeine so caffeine free options are fantastic for a lovely and refreshing at night time beverage! I was really excited to try this, and I've really been enjoying it so far! I've also had really good experiences with iteaworld and all the different teas that they sell, so even though I'm not as familiar with this type it does seem to be very good quality.

Interesting and sweet

I have quite an assortment of Chinese herbal teas that I love to drink, and was excited to try this one. This is tea that comes from the Yongshun Vine and has a lot of natural flavonoids in it -- indicated by all the white crystalline coating you see on the dried tea. Don't rinse this off! That's what gives it the health benefits. What's also nice about this tea is that you can brew it more than once to enjoy a few times before discarding. It's got faint bitterness with a natural sweetness that comes on strong in aftertaste with every sip; it's really really nice, actually. I find that I don't need to add any kind of sweetener to it, and steeping a cup takes 2-3 minutes. I like that it's caffeine free so I can enjoy this in the evenings if I want to. The tea is a bit pricey to me, but because I have a large assortment of teas I rotate through, this will last awhile. It comes in a resealable bag, but be sure to close it good and tight, because it will easily absorb any humidity or moisture in the air and can ruin it.

Not bad

I love real tea and I'm usually not a fan of most herbal teas. Sometimes I do want to drink some hot tea before bed though. This is probably the closest herbal tea to real tea without caffeine. It has a green tea color and floral scent. The taste is similar to oolong with a bit of fruitiness and a sweet undernote similar to herbal licorice (not the candy). There isn't a lot of bitterness nor tannin taste though. Because it already has sweetness I recommend trying without sugar first and adjust the sweetness accordingly. This would make a good lemon cold drink as well since the fruitiness would work well with other fruits.

White Crystals and Sweet Aftertastes

This iTeaworld Caffeine-Free Yongshun Vine Tea is weirdly sweet but completely natural. I wasn't sure what to expect as I don't usually drink decaf (and herbal options can sometimes taste like hot lawn clippings). Since I brew a lot of different teas at home, I am pretty picky about my loose leaves. But these hand-picked leaves from Hunan Province in China (sourced from Furong Town in the Wuling Mountains at high elevation) are clean. The bag is resealable. The best by date is about 2 years out.The leaves arrive coated in a white crystalline layer of flavonoids. Don't wash this coating off. That residue contains the bulk of the 50% to 70% flavonoid content. It's highly hygroscopic (meaning it sucks up moisture from the air instantly) so store it tightly sealed. When I tried brewing it, I measured the ratio (1g of tea to 100ml of water) and used my kettle with a PID controller to hit exactly 194 degrees Fahrenheit. It steeped and brewed easily at 194 degrees for exactly 2 minutes. The liquid runs clear. Re-steeping these leaves about 3 times works easily before they lose their kick. The taste starts slightly bitter but then it hits the tongue with a strong sweetness at the back of the throat. It's an intense aftertaste that lingers for minutes. There's no caffeine, no GMOs, and no additives. Keep in mind there's a caution label for pregnant women or anyone with sensitive digestion. This is a clean evening brew for anyone wanting sweetness without real sugar.

If you told me this was normal (higher end) tea, I'd believe you

Here's some Yongshun Vine Tea, and I did a bit of research, it isn't actually tea from the tea plant, and it has many other names, such as Maoyan Berry Tea, Mei Cha Tea, or Zhangjiajie (the place where it comes from) tea. Learning that it's very "healthy", I was bracing for something strong, punchy, earthy in a rooty way—but no, I was pleasantly surprised.Even though it's an herbal tea or tisane, quite honestly if you told me it was tea, I would believe you. It smells like a green tea with extra floral notes with a faint hint of earthiness—kind of like puer. It's definitely in the realm of green tea or oolong, and it's quite light and easy to drink—no astringency here. Definitely a recommend from me to those who are interested. It's not 100% the same, but it's a very good substitute for those who want similar flavors of higher end green tea and/or oolongs without the issue of caffeine.

Making vine tea kombucha

I am using this vine tea to make kombucha for my fatty liver disease. After it is completed, I can still taste the wonderful flavor of the tea made from these leaves. I researched which vine tea was fatty liver disease, and I wish I could remember, as it was a long name. Searched around my area in the United States, and they only sell powder versions. Not the leaves. My search led me to this company in China. The product is great, and it really didn't take as long as expectedfor it to arrive.I definitely plan to buy more.

Perfect vine tea

I've tried freshly brewed vine tea in its hometown, Zhangjiajie. This product tastes just the same! I Recommend it to anyone who once bought this in China.
