Today, I am sampling the Jasmine black tea offered by Iteaworld. Being a fan of black jasmine teas, I was looking forward to trying it. Thankfully, it does not have an overpowering soapy or perfumy taste. Instead, it is a lovely and sophisticated tea. It has become my new go-to choice for a black jasmine tea. I will be making a purchase soon. The tea offered multiple resteeps, and its flavor was pleasing both on its own and with sugar. I regret not having more, If you are seeking a high-quality black jasmine tea, I would definitely recommend trying this particular one from Iteaworld.

I’m a Jasmine and black tea drinker so I found this blend to be particularly delightful and new to me! I loved how this tea blended rich bold black tea with just the right hint of jasmine. It’s smooth, fragrant, and comforting. Each sip felt grounding and had a sweet bit of floral taste too. My 11 year old niece said “Tastes like the smell of 100 flowers” it’s a beautiful floral black!! We did add a dash of sugar and enjoyed it till the last sip! A new favorite for sure!

🍃 Jasmine Black Tea

This Jasmine black tea from Yunnan China is a smooth black tea that has a lovely sweetness and slightly floral note from the soft Jasmine. The scenting process is repeated three times to give it a well balanced brew. I enjoyed steeping multiple times and although I don’t typically brew with a Gaiwan, it made today’s tea time feel grounded and focused and pulled me into the moment of enjoying this exceptional black tea. Each steep became more smooth and a little less floral forward. This is a high quality black tea and highly recommend.

iTeaworld is not new to me and I fell in love with a few of their oolongs in the past. This black tea is just as exceptional and the minute I opened the sampler box, I remembered why I loved their packaging. Individual servings of large beautiful loose leaf that were very well packaged. Their sampler offerings are packaged perfectly for sharing with others or keep them all for yourself 😁.

I steeped 3 grams in 12 ounces of boiling water for 3 minutes. I can really appreciate a black jasmine tea when it’s done beautifully! This was a lovely smooth brew of flavorful black tea kissed by fresh jasmine flower scent and flavor. I loved how the jasmine was so natural and didn’t smell or taste artificial at all. I also loved how the black tea was a little sweet and had no astringency. I would not have this with milk and sugar, as I think adding those would take away from this delicately flavored tea. If you already enjoy jasmine green teas, I think you will love this!

When I opened the packet, the dry leaves gave off a slightly malty, earthy scent with just a whisper of jasmine. I brewed Gongfu style: 195°F | 20s + 10s x3 infusions. While brewing, the jasmine filled the air. It smelled lovely but I’ll admit, I was a little nervous. While I adore the scent of jasmine, floral teas are not usually my favorite. Too often, they taste like perfume. But this one surprised me in the best way and completely won me over.

The jasmine is clearly the star, but it’s delicate and beautifully integrated. It does not overpower the smooth, slightly malty black tea, which still shines through. This was my first time trying a black tea scented with jasmine, and it made me reconsider how I feel about floral teas. Maybe I do like them… when they’re high quality and well-balanced like this one.

Even after four infusions, the jasmine stayed present softer each time, but still lingering offering a touch of sweetness. I usually like my black teas lightly sweetened, but this one was perfect plain. It’s smooth, lightly sweet, with a lingering maltiness and floral whisper that keeps calling me back for another sip.

This is my first Jasmine Black Tea. Jasmine Green Tea is one of my go to favorite teas. Soo I was was excited to try this new to me version of Jasmine tea.
Opening the package the floral aroma of Jasmine was prominent and quite fragrant. I'm new to the world of Kung Fu tea preparation. I usually opt for the Western style, but decided to try it for this tea. My first step was just under 10 seconds. The following 2 steps were done at 15 seconds. I could have easily gotten additional steps. The first cup was Jasmine forward. I find the floral notes to be somewhat sweet and mellow. The following cups were equally pleasant. iTeaworld uses a traditional process of scenting the tea and repeat the process three times. This process produces the best Jasmine tea I've had to date.

My afternoon cup of tea was Iteaworld's Jasmine Black. The black tea, grown in Yunnan, China, at an elevation of nearly 5,300 feet, is scented three times with jasmine from Hengxian, Guangxi. The tea, cultivated in rich, red soil, offers a smooth and robust flavor profile, complemented by a heavenly, soft floral taste and aroma. This is a high-quality tea and a must-have for Jasmine tea enthusiasts.

I brewed this tea following the recommended instructions: 203°F with a tea-to-water ratio of 1:25–35, steeped for just 20 seconds. I used my Clan Kung Fu teapot and enjoyed it in traditional clay Kung Fu cups—no sugar added.

From the moment I opened the package, the rich aroma of jasmine filled the air. The flavor was the perfect harmony of bold black tea and delicate jasmine. It made for an incredibly enjoyable and calming cup.

I love the familiar flavor of jasmine (from green teas served to me at Chinese restaurants growing up) twisted with my favorite morning tea- black tea. In black tea form, the jasmine flavor comes through sweet and subtle, allowing both jasmine and black tea flavors to shine. I loved this tea both cold brewed and hot served gongfu style. Cold the sweetness and refreshing nature definitely came through. I would definitely recommend this tea and repurchase it again.

Wow! This tea was amazing! I've never had a jasmine black tea before, so was really excited to try this one. Steeped it only for 20 seconds, and it had so much flavor. I was able to steep this 5 times, and each time it was so delicious. It was so smooth and fragrant. It had the perfect amount of jasmine in it, you can still taste the black tea. It was really well-balanced and pairs so well together! Definitely a new favorite of mine.
