This Zhuni teapot was handcrafted by Cai Songkai, a renowned Zhuni teapot master from Chaozhou, and is primarily made from Zhuni clay.

The teapot features the classic Xishi shape, one of the most traditional, timeless, and beloved forms among all Yixing teapots.
Its round, full body and smooth, elegant lines, combined with a short, upturned spout, give the teapot a lively and charming appearance.
The handle is ergonomically designed, offering a comfortable grip and easy pouring.
The lid fits seamlessly with the body, ensuring excellent airtightness to preserve the tea’s aroma. Inside, the spout holes are evenly distributed, allowing for smooth pouring with a clean cut-off of liquid. This teapot is not only a functional tea vessel but also a collectible piece of art, making it an ideal choice for personal use or gifting.

The inner lid and handle are engraved with the maker’s name or signature. It is perfect for brewing high-aroma teas, especially Oolong varieties such as Phoenix Dancong, Tieguanyin, and Dong Ding Oolong.

Capacity: 70 mL

What is a Zhuni Teapot?

Zhuni is a type of zisha clay, belonging to the “red clay” family, and is regarded as the finest and most delicate among them — often considered the “noble” or “gem” of zisha clay.
It has a low sand content and a fragile texture, making it prone to deformation or cracking during firing.
Because of this, the yield rate is very low, and teapots made from it are known as Zhuni teapots.
