Jasmine Biluochun Green Tea - Triple-Scented

This is an amazingly delicious Jasmine Green.

I brewed this tea hot using the gongfu method, but I think this would also work really well western style. This is the most exquisite jasmine scented green tea. The jasmine is creamy, floral, and sweet and adds the most beautiful floral note to the tea itself. I love the green tea used here—it is super smooth and pairs really well with the jasmine. I got three flavorful steeps out of this one. I envision this one being very delightful in early spring or as a cold brew during the summer. Gorgeous!

This tea was gifted to me by the company, and I am providing my honest review.

When I opened the bag of tea, the jasmine aroma was strong and fresh. The pieces are very large, no fannings here! The jasmine blossoms are whole and very fragrant. I brewed according to the directions, with 2 grams (which is a bit more than a teaspoon) in 200 ml of water at 85C. The tea has a strong and pleasant jasmine scent. It reminds me of what I would get at a nice restaurant. The last bit of the tea was astringent. The bag says Refills: 2-3 cups, so I tried brewing a second cup of tea with the same leaves. The flavor is not as rich as the first cup, but it is still pleasant. I can still taste the jasmine.

I love Jasmine tea, but only as a blend with black teas. I refrain from the very floral teas on their own... a personal choice.That being said, this is a lovely green tea. I make my total brew 25% of this with a black tea. I brew as I would my black tea, and there is no bitterness at all. It adds just the right flavor profile for me, and of course it will last longer.Did not realize that this tea was from iTeaworld. I have tried some of their other teas and have found them all to be top notch. It's evident that they care about their product line. I don't know where they are sourcing this tea, but it's great!I could drink this all day long...recommended!

This is excellent quality, very fresh tea. The floral scent of Jasmine is very strong from the opening of the bag through brewing it. It takes just a small amount of leaves to get right strength. I brewed a pot of it and the dried leaves and blossoms expanded considerably. It has a lovely perfumed flavor that is also really good with milk and sweetener.

The bag labels the quality as 1 bud with 2 leaves so I assume the flowers are 1/3 of the total. It's a weird way to show quality but I guess if you want your tea to be beautiful and have the antioxidants within the flowers, getting enough is definitely a plus. Everything is whole and not ground so it just feels very premium. The tea is very smooth and isn't bitter at all. It's a lovely sipping tea and a great drink for a calming experience.

Open the bag and you are greeted with the floral fragrance of Jasmine. This is a high quality whole leaf green tea. The taste is green tea with a slight hint of jasmine.This is my first time making this tea and I might have used too much dry tea in my tea ball. I started with about half a tea spoon of dried tea and as you can see in the picture it expanded. I think I will try about a quarter of tea spoon in my tea ball. The tea is made was very strong and it was very tasty, it was slightly bitter but that's because I used too much tea. Lesson learned a little goes a long way.The bag has the production date on the label and my bag had a July 2024 date. This tea is delightful.

I tried all 4 levels of their jasmine tea and found that the 3-scent Bi Luo Chun version suited my tea for Jasmine tea perfectly. Loved that this version includes the flowers so I reordered more.

The flavor is nice, and whole leaves and flowers look very impressive if you are used to only drinking chopped up bagged tea. But on the other hand, if I was doing a blind-comparison with the kind of mass-market tea that I can pick up at the grocery store, I don't know that I would think it was anything exceptional. Maybe I'm just not that picky about tea.To brew this tea, I strongly recommend having a kitchen scale that is accurate to tenths of a gram. Just making a single mug for myself, I use 3 grams at a time. The instructions on the bag don't even say how to measure it by volume, and rightly so: trying to measure such small amounts by volume would be very inconsistent because of how each leaf and flower curls up into a random shape when it dries.

The triple-round scenting process ensures a sweet floral aroma that doesn’t overpower the natural green tea notes, and the Biluochun base leaves a smooth, slightly sweet finish. For the best taste, I brew it for about one minute. It’s the perfect afternoon pick-me-up, and the low caffeine content means I can enjoy it any time of day!

I must admit that I'm a bit of a tea snob. I rarely drink teas in the premade bags and will gravitate towards loose leaf teas so this was right up my alley!A little goes a long way and make sure you use either a strainer/steeper that is large enough to hold the leaves. The more they can unfurl, the better the flavor you will get! It's not overpowering at all. It's a nice, mild tea. I steeped it for about 3 min with 195 degree water and it was still good, not bitter. I do have a special tea pot with other different temp settings for the different teas and have tried it at 180, but it's nice to have a tea that will still taste wonderful at warmer temps!If you do steep it covered, you end up with a more floral flavor than if you steep it with no cover over the mug/pot.

This is a high-quality green tea made with new leaves from the winter. It tastes so fresh and soothing with its natural fragrant of tea. That is because only the youngest leaves and buds are used, and they have pasted the winter with enriched polyphenols. In addition, there is an additional flavor of jasmine making the tea exceptional delight and fragrant. As indicated in the title, the tea has been treated with three batches of jasmine flowers to enrich the flavor. The flavor can last for several refills of steeping. I used about 8 grams in a cup and steeped this tea with sub-bilingual water to keep the sweet tastes. I also refill at half full to prevent sharp drop of the flavors. It is a nice experience to drink this tea.

I like these tea leaves and buds.It is easy to brew in an infuser with my teapot and with my infuser mug.I personally only need half a teaspoon per serving on a steep. I let that steep for 1-2 minutes depending how strong I want the flavor.When I do a 2nd steep, I double the time and still get a bonus cup from it.I do follow green tea brewing temps, so 176 degrees and it has not created any bitterness.

This appears to be a high quality loose leaf tea. The leaves are large enough that you can drink around them if you prefer not to strain. I steep this tea for about 4 minutes. I find if you steep longer than 4 minutes it starts bringing out more tannins. The green tea flavor is subtle, and the scent of jasmine is beautiful.Overall, this is a delicious quality tea!

I’m a big fan of brewing herbal teas, especially the ones with whole flowers, and this Triple-Scented Jasmine Green Tea does not disappoint. The aroma when you open the bag is lovely, and the jasmine scent really fills the room as it brews. I’ve had my fair share of jasmine teas, but this one stands out for being smooth and having a nice, subtle flavor. It’s not overpowering as some jasmine teas can be, and the taste has a nice layered quality to it.I’ve found that using about one heaping teaspoon of the loose leaves per 8oz of water gives me a great cup, though I do recommend using a diffuser since it’s loose-leaf tea. It brews up to a soft green color and the taste is mild with no bitterness, just a smooth, calming sip. I like to add a little honey for sweetness, and other herbs for variety, but it’s also perfect on its own. Sure, it’s a bit on the expensive side, but the quality and the scent make it worth it. My only tiny gripe is that there aren’t any brewing instructions on the package, so you’ll need to look that up if you forget easily as I do!

Very nice tea, all leaves and flowers. The scent when opening the package is lovely.It brews up wonderfully, I used three heaping teaspoons in a teapot with filtered water at 185 for 3 minutes.It's quite aromatic, doesn't become a deep green, more like the color of celery. The flavor is smooth and not at all bitter like some matcha or jasmine can become.It is expensive, but it's also high quality. They state where it comes, the quality from and when it was packaged. But there are no instructions for brewing on the package. I'm not going to come back to the listing page to find that every time.

I like brewing herbal teas, especially the ones where there are whole flower buds because the taste is usually richer and more expressive. This tea smells like jasmine (which I like) and the taste is subtly layered and not overpowering. I've had plenty of jasmine tea before and this is up there for being smooth and having a nice aroma.

When I cut open the top, the first thing I smelled was Jasmine flowers! Smelled soooooo good! That means the seal was great that no smell leaked out at all until I cut the bag open. It's a resealable zip top bag, and it zips up just fine.It says to brew at 80ºC to 85ºC temp (176ºF - 185ºF), which I did. I did it for 5 minutes at 178ºF. Not only that it smelled good, it tasted equally good. I loved it! The only thing I don't love is the current high price of $20.99 for 3.5oz which is already more expensive than my ceremonial grade matcha I get per oz. Other than the price, this is a great tasting tea!
