Real Jasmine Tea: The "Scenting" Process
Traditional jasmine tea isn't "flavored" with liquids; it is naturally infused using fresh blossoms. We call this Scenting (Yin Zhi). The "Sponge" Effect: Tea leaves act as natural sponges. When placed with fresh jasmine, they soak up the organic scent and essential oils.
The 3-Step Method: Infuse (Night Shift) Since jasmine only blooms at night, we mix fresh flowers with tea leaves for several hours to let them absorb the natural aroma. Breathe (Cooling) Scenting creates heat. We manually stir and "flip" the tea to let it breathe, keeping the fragrance fresh and crisp. Lock (Drying) We sift out the flowers and gently dry the leaves. This "locks" the floral scent inside the tea until you brew it.
The “Scenting” Spectrum: 3, 5, or 7 Rounds?
How each round of fresh jasmine reshapes the soul of your tea.
