A classic nutty style of Longjing green tea. This tea highlights the traditional bean-like aroma Longjing is known for, with a smooth, mellow taste and a warm, lasting fragrance. Its yellow-green leaves and fuller-bodied cup make it ideal for those who prefer a more classic and authentic Longjing experience.

Nutty Longjing Green Tea (Yellow-style)
Aroma: Rich and toasty, with a signature nutty/chestnut fragrance.
Taste: Mellow, full-bodied.
Texture: Smooth

Origin: Yali Village, Huishan Town, Xinchang County, Shaoxing, Zhejiang
Cultivar: Dafo Longjing Heirloom Species (Qunti-zhong)
Grade: One bud with two-to-three leaves
Tea Master: Chen Pufang

Unlike traditional Longjing, this "Green Style" is crafted using a slightly lower temperature during the final Hui Guo (pan-firing) stage. This gentle heat preserves the tea's vibrant, emerald-green luster and "tender-green" appearance. The process highlights the legendary "Xian" (freshness) of Longjing, yielding a bouquet of crisp, tender aromas with subtle hints of sweet soybean blossom. It is an elegant, refined choice for those who seek a bright and floral tea experience.

Sourced from the heart of the Dafo Longjing region, Yali Village sits 400m above sea level in a mist-covered mountain landscape. The local white sandy soil and cool climate are ideal for producing tea with high amino acid content and deep fragrance.

The area is famous for its ancient, wild-grown tea trees that flourish in a superior ecological environment. These heirloom trees produce plump, vibrant buds with a complex flavor profile: rich in aroma, exceptionally refreshing, and naturally low in bitterness.

Very Good and Not Too Strong! Perfect for Day Energy Booster!

What I really like about this green tea is that it comes in it’s dried out form without being processed or put through a chopper or anything and it just has a really great taste to it. It’s not like other “commercial” green tea. If you haven’t had green tea from Japan or Asia you definitely need to try it. I like that you can see the entire green tea leaf bloom up as soon as it starts absorbing all the water that you’re steeping it in. I like that it takes only about 2 to 3 g per serving to brew a cup for yourself which last you a really long time because that bag is a good amount to last you a while. I also like that it’s not a super dark green color when it’s brewed it’s actually a very light light green color that the tea comes out to be so it’s not going to look super strong, but it has a very good clean energy feel that you’ll get after you have a cup. I think it’s really fresh and very easy to drink; the taste is different than regular green tea if you maybe had the commercial/other branded green tea that you can find on shelves everywhere, but it has more of ‘a leaf out in nature-like’ taste to it. I always drink my green tea without sugar, and without ice, just pure green tea by itself. I like the taste non-sweetened, but all my other teas sweetened, but this one I think it taste the best without anything, just pure green tea. I think the effectiveness is really great, it’s very clean. It doesn’t give you too much jittery feeling or over stimulation. It’s very clean good energy I think. There’s nothing that I didn’t like about the screen tea. I’m definitely keeping it on my radar and grabbing another when I run low.Overall, I’m so happy I did find a really good green tea on Amazon and I’m so excited to get back to drinking green tea again and weaning off the coffee. I will recommend the green tea to all my family and friends.

Sold Out for a Reason!

I wish I had ordered more before it sold out! This is easily one of the best teas I've tried from iTeaWorld. Absolutely delicious, and I can't wait for it to be back in stock!

Large Leaves Ideal and Tastes Great

These large leaves are ideal for my Japanese Kyusu teapot because they don't clog up the filter, making it easy to clean. Also, the resulting tea is delicious.

Great green tea

Overall good aroma when brewed and some decent taste. I like to relax when drinking tea and this helps with the relaxation. Quality tea that is pretty good value for your money. It's green tea so it isn't a large amount of caffeine.

Throw out first cup, next blooms are good

Hello friends, I selected this iTeaworld LongJing Dragon Green Tea for drinking.I brewed this entire bag of tea to make a concentrate. That first batch of tea was very bitter and tasted awful. I just threw it out. The next few blooms I got out of it were fantastic. It made a wonderful clean green tea. I added stevia and froze it into ice cubes. Now whatever! I want to have a nice green tea with some lemonade I just add the green tea ice cubes. It tastes delicious. Just be aware that you might want to run the leaves over some hot water to get rid of that bitterness.

Excellent for green tea lovers

I have to admit, this was my first loose leaf green tea. Sure, I get nicer teas from time to time--but at home, I usually opt for bagged tea. However, this might make me into a loose leaf convert! The flavor is a little more nuanced, while still being very mild and (if you don't over-steep it) not bitter. Do note that when the packaging notes a "light flavor" they aren't kidding. If you prefer strong flavors, you'll probably want to skip this one. My only gripe is how little you get for 22 bucks--you can use it up so quickly.

Delicious, fantastic for fasting

I loved the flavor of this tea and just blew through it in way too short a time. It's yummier than most green tea that I've tried (I'm typically a strong black tea drinker) and it really helped suppress hunger pangs and appetite during some long-fasts that I did. It's not too bitter and doesn't upset my stomach even when very, very empty. In fact, it had enough flavor to feel like I was getting a snack (but it didn't alter my blood glucose). So, if you know someone who is getting into fasting, this is a great gift idea.My only regret is that the package didn't come with more!

delicious

I wanted iTeaworld LongJing Dragon Well Tea Green Tea because I like trying different types of tea and I drink a lot of green tea during the winter months. I brewed it by steeping one teaspoon of tea leaves in 175F water for 2 minutes and the resulting tea was pale green with a mild flavor. If steeped for too long or too hot of water it does become a little bitter. I would repurchase again.

Nicely packaged loose green tea

Ok, so this tea is loose, so it is literally just a bag of dried tea leaves, so you will need your own infuser or tea bag, or you need to be ok with tea leaves floating around your cup. That being said, the leaves themselves are whole and in tact, dried, and easy to use. Just grab the amount you want and steep it. The resulting tea is lovely and mild, not too strong, and fairly smooth. I'm currently fighting off a cold, and having a cup of this every now and again is quite soothing.

mild grassy flavor

This tea has a mild, grassy flavor. It's a very delicate flavor so make sure you don't brew it in boiling water, which would ruin it the taste. Instead, let the water cool a bit before steeping to maximize the flavor. The tea leaves are different from your regular tea leaves, the leaves long and thin, curled up so it's better to use a bigger steeper to accommodate the length of the leaves. The tea is indeed a high quality tea, you just need to make sure to steep it correctly. I'd highly recommend.

Grassy, earthy green tea

This green tea is good. It has a very grassy flavor. It does taste fresher than the kind you can get in bags ofc. It makes quite a lot of tea. It smells good when opening which usually indicates freshness. It has instructions with temperature, time, and quantity on the back. I like that because a lot of teas don't put that information and tea really is better at specific temperatures. The current price is $21.99 for 3.5oz.

Sweet, High Grade Tea

This is one of my new favorite green teas. The leaves are intact and beautiful, allowing them to be easily strained with a traditional tea pot that lets smaller leaves through. The taste is sweet, with an earthy chlorophyll aroma. I find it both relaxing and energizing from the caffeine. The second brew is also good.

Enjoyable tea but it may be an acquired taste.

I'll be the first to admit that I'm not particularly knowledgeable about nuances of green tea. I'm just someone who enjoys trying different teas and other beverages from around the world. Brewing is quick and easy. Recommended tea quantity and water are a perfect fit for my small personal teapot. Steep time is a lightning fast 2 minutes, so be mindful of the clock. The flavor is unusual. It's not like any green tea I've had before. I like it, but it can definitely be an acquired taste. I served it to some guests. Some really enjoyed it, others disliked it. Some found it bitter, others found it too mild. But it's all a moot point since I like it. Note that in transit the tea may break through the ziploc top but the top is sealed so be sure to squish down the tea before ripping or cutting the seal. It's hard to say if this is worth the asking price but for now it's been a wonderful tea to try and I'll be moderately disappointed when it runs out.

Delicious and refreshing

This tea is delicious and refreshing. The loose tea leaf is pressed flat and long. The quality seems very good and fresh. I brew this in 175°F hot water for 2 minutes. It has a mellow, vegetal flavor with a hint of toasty and fruity notes. It is light and delightful to drink. This comes in a resealable, foil-lined standup bag. Mine has a production date of 04/2024 (Truly a Spring tea). The shelf life is 18 months. Overall, I really like this tea. It is mellow and refreshing. A little pricey but probably worth giving it a try for the quality and taste. Good stuff.

Beautiful large tea leaves and light flavor

This tea has some of the biggest leaves I've ever seen. I followed the directions except for the fact that I measured out 1 teaspoon of tea (hard to do since the leaves were so big) rather than dragging out my scale to weigh 2 grams. I added about 6 ounces (200 ml) of hot water and steeped for 2-3 minutes. The color was a pretty greenish yellow and the tea was smooth and refreshing.

Gorgeous green tea

My girlfriend had this to say: I am a bit obsessed with this beautiful green tea. I have tried quite a few different types of green teas, and this one certainly stands out. The product itself is quite beautiful to me - the leaves and buds have clearly been carefully grown and processed. They look like they've been dried and pressed to be displayed - that is how special they look. The brewed tea is light and bright and has the slightest citrus aspect - an almost tropical tang to it. I love this tea very much.
