This box was amazing. It's perfect if you want to start enjoying oolong. The packaging is well done, and each variety comes in two individual 5-gram packets, which is very convenient for taking your tea everywhere.
I also liked that it included two of each variety. In my opinion, one is never enough to fully enjoy it.
Last but not least, one of the aspects I enjoyed most was that the package includes a very useful and comprehensive informational manual. This manual helps you understand all the differences that soil, tea variety, roast level, oxidation, and altitude bring to each oolong.

Great starter kit for new tea lover to try out

I loved exploring all of these teas! The box features a wide variety of oolongs, compressed into mini cakes and individually packaged. This allows the teas to be enjoyed leisurely at home or packed along on an adventure. The oolongs range from light and creamy to roasted with notes of honey and fruit. I'm a floral kind of girl, so the Osmanthus Oolong and Jasmine Oolong were my favorites! The box also comes with a pamphlet of information on each tea - their origin, cultivar, elevation, soil type, harvest date, and more! I would recommend this sampler not only to beginners, but to anyone who enjoys a variety of teas!

This was a fantastic set of ten oolongs. If you're newer to oolongs, this would be the perfect place to start. There aren't any "hard to brew" teas in this set--you can easily brew them either in the traditional gongfu style or western style. You get a little bit of everything in this set--floral, honey, toasty, light, dark. I loved every tea in this set, especially the jasmine and the osmanthus. Overall, a fantastic set. I also love how the set was packaged, and how they were all the perfect portion. Highly recommend this one!!

I absolutely loved this oolong beginners box! I really enjoyed exploring all the ranges of oolong tea - from light bodied and delicate, to floral and sweet, to lightly toasted, to one scented with jasmine, to full bodied and deeply roasted, to rock oolong. I don’t have much experience with oolong teas, so this was a real treat for me to try! I love how there’s enough tea of each type to have multiple cups and you can get multiple infusions out of each cup! The packaging of the box also is so pretty and well thought out. It would look beautiful on a kitchen shelf or a tea hutch! I would recommend this to anyone who is curious about trying oolong teas but doesn’t know where to start.

The beginner oolong box is a great way to discover oolongs. My favorite was the jasmine oolong it was so flavorful with just the right amount of jasmine flavor. Second favorite was the Fenghuang dancong it was beautiful. I highly recommend this sample box because you just can’t beat 20 samples for $20. Also, the packaging is very travel friendly and you could just stick one of the little samples in your purse and you’re good to go.

Just starting my journey into gongfu cha and this sampler has been such a valuable delight. The teas are delicious. The information about each tea is thorough and interesting! I'd recommend this to anyone who wants to nerd out on tea.

This box comes in a perfect format with mini tea cakes perfect for traveling. I love that there are two packets of each type, so beginners like me can try again if they make mistakes while steeping, or can try different ways of brewing tea. The overall quality is perfect for a beginner and makes discovering the most famous varieties of Oolong easy. In the back of each packet there are brewing instructions, but you might want to lower the water temperature for greener Oolongs according to your taste. I really recommend this box and I think it would fit perfectly for a gift to someone who's new to tea but also wants to dive deeper.
