Delicious floral with malty flavor

I brewed a cup of iTeaworld’s Osmanthus Black Tea and really enjoyed how gently aromatic and well balanced it is. The dry leaves release a soft floral scent, and once brewed the tea takes on a warm amber hue with a delicate floral aroma reminiscent of light honeysuckle. The floral character is graceful and inviting, never heavy or overpowering. The osmanthus adds a natural sweetness with subtle apricot-like notes, while the black tea base brings comforting depth. The black tea itself is smooth and rounded, with hints of malt, soft caramel, and a touch of cocoa that anchor the florals beautifully. Together, the flavors create a cup that feels cozy yet refined.
Brewed at about 200°F for 3–4 minutes, everything comes together in a cup that’s quietly indulgent and very easy to enjoy. This is the kind of tea that encourages you to slow down, take a sip, and savor the moment. A lovely choice for anyone who appreciates elegant floral black teas.
I received this tea from iTeaworld in exchange for an honest and impartial review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Perfect Jasmine Pearls

Jasmine Pearl Tea
Between green tea ranking low on my list of favorite tea bases and the challenge of finding jasmine that isn’t overwhelmingly perfumey, I approached this one with curiosity and cautious hope. The moment I opened the package, I was greeted by the most heavenly jasmine aroma, with the green tea quietly waiting in the background rather than competing for attention. Learning that it takes about 200 pounds of fresh jasmine flowers to create 100 pounds of finished tea made me appreciate every pearl even more.

I brewed this tea through three successive steeps and what surprised me most was how much I enjoyed every stage of its evolution. The first steep is light, silky, and beautifully fragrant, allowing the gentle green tea to peek through without any trace of astringency. By the second steep, the jasmine steps forward with more confidence, slightly outpacing the green tea, while a soft, pleasant astringency begins to appear. The third steep is where the jasmine truly blooms - bold and expressive, with the green tea now playing a quiet supporting role, maintaining the same gentle astringency as the second.

As someone who loves jasmine but usually avoids green tea, I didn’t expect to enjoy this tea as much as I did, but each steep had its own charm, and together they made for a wonderfully layered experience. If you’re a green tea lover, steep one will be your sweet spot. If jasmine is your passion, steep three is where it sings. And if you enjoy them both equally, steep two strikes the perfect harmony.

Scented Bliss

Even before brewing, the aroma is enchanting - a rich, comforting oolong base gently lifted by bright, fragrant citrus-floral notes. I prepared it gongfu style at 212° with 15-second infusions over three pours, and each steep somehow became more vibrant and refreshing than the last. The tea stayed beautifully smooth and mellow throughout, while the blossom notes continued to bloom in a soft, graceful way. It’s been a lovely introduction to Chinese flower scented tea for me.

The Sampler was provided to me at no cost in exchange for my honest review.
