When brewed, the tea is turquoise and fresh in the mouth, with a pronounced sweet aftertaste that is better than many Japanese green teas I've had! I usually brew it in a delicate covered bowl with water temperature controlled at about 80 degrees and savor it. The taste of this tea is very unique, and compared to other green teas, it is mellower, more resistant to brewing, and has a longer aftertaste. Highly recommended!!!
