Introduction to Yixing Clay Tea Pets:Yixing clay tea pets are small clay figurines nurtured with tea, designed to add a touch of fun and charm to the tea-drinking experience. Made from the same material as Yixing teapots, these tea pets absorb tea over time, becoming smoother and richer in color as they age.
How to Care for Yixing Clay Tea Pets:
Nurture with Tea Water: When caring for your tea pet, always use tea water, not plain water.
Avoid Prolonged Soaking: Don’t leave your tea pet soaked in tea water for too long, as this can dull its surface shine.
Clean Regularly: Daily care involves brushing off tea stains and occasionally polishing the tea pet with a tea cloth to maintain its luster.
Watch Temperature Differences: Avoid moving the tea pet from hot tea water to a cold environment quickly, as sudden temperature changes can cause cracks.
Avoid Direct Sunlight: Keep your tea pet out of prolonged sunlight exposure to prevent fading.
Let it Rest: Give your tea pet occasional breaks, allowing it to dry naturally after periods of care.
Jasmine tea is made by blending finished base teas with fresh jasmine blossoms, allowing the dry tea leaves to absorb the floral aroma. The resulting tea is known as jasmine tea.
Our Jasmine Green Tea Sampler features four types of Chinese green teas as the base, each scented with jasmine flowers through different numbers of scenting sessions—3, 5, 7, and 9 times. These teas represent a variety of classic green tea shapes in China:
- Curled (Biluochun)
- Tightly rolled with visible silvery buds (Mao jian)
- Needle-shaped (Zhen wang)
- Covered in fine white hairs (Bai hao)
Each variety offers a unique green tea taste. With increasing scenting sessions, the jasmine aroma becomes progressively more intense, allowing you to experience the true artistry of traditional Chinese flower-scented tea.

Meicha (also known as Vine Tea) is a naturally caffeine-free herbal tea made from a wild vine plant of the Ampelopsis genus in the grape family. It originates from the high mountains of the Wuling region in Zhangjiajie, Hunan, at elevations of 400–1,500 meters. Its name comes from the natural layer of flavonoid crystals that form a “white frost” on the surface of the leaves.
Rich in flavonoids, Meicha has long been used in Chinese folk tradition as an antioxidant, or to soothe the throat, relieve fatigue, and support cardiovascular health. Because it contains no caffeine, it can be enjoyed even before bedtime without affecting sleep, making it an ideal choice for tea lovers who are sensitive to caffeine or looking for a caffeine-free beverage.
This tea has a slightly bitter taste at first, quickly giving way to a strong, lasting sweetness with a refreshing sensation. After drinking, even just drinking water tastes subtly sweet for a while. Its aroma combines the freshness of wild mountains with herbal notes, clean and long-lasting. It can be brewed 3–5 times.
Our Meicha comes from Yongshun in western Hunan, a region with a natural environment similar to Zhangjiajie and also part of the Wuling Mountains. With its humid climate, misty landscapes, and excellent natural conditions, Yongshun produces high-quality Meicha with superior flavor and character. It’s the perfect choice for anyone seeking a premium caffeine-free tea.
